Our large sun-bathing meadow with its comfortable full-length deck-chairs invites you to lie down and relax.You can swim from our own bathing pier in our moderate temperature mountain lake with an unforgettable panorama or explore the lake in a rowing or pedal boat. There are comfortable walks from the hotel, or tours on mountain bikes. Mountain excursions and climbing tours are waiting for mountaineers. There are various routes you can take if you walk down to the violinmaker and health resort Mittenwald. For golf friends, the "Golf- und Landclub Karwendel" in Wallgau offers you an exceptional 9 hole golf course directly at the Isar river. The greens lie between three former fluvial terraces and are surrounded by a unique mountain-panorama. Our hotel guests receive a reduction of 15% on the greenfees. You will also find other golf places in the immediate vicinity.

In Winter

The main skiing takes place  at Kranzberg, Gschwandtkopf or from the “Rosshütte“.  Cross-country skiing is centered in Ried, Krün, Wallgau, Klais, Leutasch or Seefeld. Using a sledge or hiking in snowshoes or simply walking on cleared paths offers you another variety. You can skate on the frozen lake  or exert yourself with curling. Our sun terrace  offers you the ideal place to relax afterwards. Garmisch- Partenkirchen with its numerous international winter sport events is in the immediate vicinity.
